Information You Submit
Search terms such as a name, phone number, or address are sent to the third-party results provider that operates the search function. Our servers do not retain a copy of those queries. If you contact us, we receive the details you include and use them to respond.
Routine Technical Information
Hosting systems may record ordinary log data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of access. We review aggregate information to maintain the service. Cookies or similar technology may support essential operation, analytics, or advertising measurement where used.
How Information Is Used
We use submitted correspondence to answer it and technical information to operate, secure, and improve the service. We do not build a private resident file from a visitor's query. Government records remain under the control of their own Henrico County, Virginia, court, library, or state custodian.
External Services and Links
Links and search functions may lead to third-party services. Their privacy terms, cookies, availability, and data practices are their own. Review the policy of the outside provider before submitting information there.
Who Can Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. We may use hosting, analytics, search, advertising, security, or service vendors that process limited information to provide their function, or disclose information when law requires it.
Security Practices
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for the information we control. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so do not send account credentials, full government identifiers, or protected records through ordinary correspondence.
Visitors Under 18
The service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied information may contact us to request review or deletion where applicable.
Choices and Privacy Requests
You may ask about personal information you sent directly to us, subject to legal and operational limits. Virginia's Consumer Data Protection Act, Va. Code ยง59.1-575 and following, has scope thresholds and exemptions; it may not apply to every visitor or activity. A request concerning a Henrico parcel card, voter record, court file, directory scan, or vital record must go to the original custodian, which controls correction and confidentiality procedures.
Policy Changes
We may revise this policy as practices, providers, or legal requirements change. The version posted here applies from its publication date. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.
